What Students Did on Their Snow Days

I am proud of this piece because it was done very much “on the fly” and still won an award and was part of my fourth place portfolio for NSPA’s Multimedia Journalist of the Year. I can’t even remember why our editors wanted us to ask students what they did on their multiple snow days. I believe they needed content, and that was an idea they had. Sam Gibb-Randall, Mahir Soofi and I decided to go out and interview, and then I put together a “Ken Burns” style iMovie with moving photos and used the interview recordings as voice overs.
