Decorations Downtown

I was honestly surprised this piece won a national award. It is an example of good visual work, but in my opinion, it doesn’t compare to “Fall Foliage,” which I unfortunately couldn’t submit because it was from the previous year. “Fall Foliage” was the inspiration behind this piece because I knew I wanted to do another StoryMap, so I decided to walk around downtown Ann Arbor and take photos of the decorations, including murals painted by the Brush Monkeys on windows.
